ASTM A694 Flanges

Pipes, valves, pumps, and other equipment are connected to form pipeline systems using SA 694 flanges. Usually, it is screwed or welded. To create it joints, two flanges are bolted together with a gasket in between to create a seal.
ASTM A694 flanges come in a variety of forms, including slip-on, blind, socket weld, orifice, long weld neck, threaded, and more.

The grades of A694 steel flanges range from A694 f42 to A694 f70.
The ASTM A694 material is an alloy steel flange with carbon content intended for high pressure liquid transfer. F42, F46, F50, F52, F56, F60, F65, and F70 are its material grades.

F65 A694 Flanges
Carbon steel, alloy steel, or low alloy steel can be used to furnish it. It is easily produced from billets, ingots, slabs, or bars.

Applications such as water, oil, and gases can use A694 F70 flanges at temperatures ranging from -30ºC (-20ºF) to +593ºC (+1100ºF).

Since A694 F60 flanges have a high strength and high pressure bearing capacity, they are frequently utilised in gearbox services. It is helpful in high pressure pipeline systems for the transportation of petrochemical aggregates, gas, and oil.

In residential settings, A694 F42 flanges are frequently used to connect several valves to heat exchangers. It is made with superior grade materials that are incredibly resilient and long-lasting. Because molybdenum preserves its flexibility, what is known as a694 f52 flanges are ductile and easy to mould into various shapes, yet having a high carbon content that gives them strength.
