Additionally, it has excellent resistance to reducing acids, and the inclusion of copper gives it universal corrosion resistance to sulphuric acid at different concentrations. These material are resistant to corrosion, stress, and cracking because to its high alloying, yet it is still brittle. IGC is prevented by its low carbon concentration, which also makes it resistant to sensitization during welding.
