Product Overview

Om Export India Pvt Ltd is a premier manufacturer, stockist, and global exporter of high-integrity ASTM A213 T5 Seamless Alloy Steel Tubes (ASME SA213 Grade T5 / UNS K41545), including modified variants Grade T5b and Titanium-stabilized Grade T5c. Engineered with a nominal composition of 5% Chromium and 0.5% Molybdenum, Grade T5 is an intermediate ferritic-martensitic alloy steel tailored specifically for severe elevated-temperature service, high-sulfur refinery streams, superheaters, reheaters, economizers, and catalytic cracker heat exchanger circuits operating up to 650°C (1200°F).

The 5% Chromium addition provides superior resistance to hot sulfur corrosion, petroleum oil vapor attack, hydrogen attack, and high-temperature scaling compared to lower alloy grades such as T2 or T11. The Molybdenum addition prevents microstructural softening and guarantees high creep rupture strength under prolonged thermodynamic stresses. Fully certified under Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR) and ASME Section II, our SA213 T5 tubes are supplied in full isothermal annealed or normalized and tempered conditions to ensure optimal ductility for roller expansion into tubesheets, flanging, and precision U-bending.

  • Sulfidation & Scaling Resistance: 5% Chromium matrix provides exceptional resistance to high-temperature naphthenic acid and sulfurous hydrocarbon environments.
  • Creep Rupture Durability: Engineered for sustained cyclic mechanical and thermal stresses in utility boiler banks and cracking coils.
  • IBR Form III-D Compliance: Inspected and certified under Indian Boiler Regulations for high-pressure steam boilers and superheaters.

Key Features

  • High Sulfidation Resistance: 5% Chromium matrix provides resistance against hot sulfur and hydrogen attack.
  • Elevated Temperature Creep Strength: Molybdenum alloying prevents softening and grain boundary separation up to 650°C.
  • Precise Formability: Over 30% elongation ensures cracking-free cold flanging, tight U-bending, and expansion into tubesheets.
  • Controlled Hardness Limits: Maintained under 163 HBW to avoid stress corrosion cracking and hydrogen embrittlement.
  • Thermal Stability: Resists scaling, graphitization, and thermal fatigue across cyclic heating-cooling loops.
  • Smooth Surface Finish: Cold drawn, pickled, and passivated finishes ensure low fluid flow friction and minimal fouling.
